Senior Level Job Overview Our client is seeking a Senior Google Cloud Platform Data Engineer to join their growing data team in Phoenix, AZ. This is a long-term contract engagement where you will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines on Google Cloud Platform. You will also provide technical leadership to a small offshore engineering team. Key Responsibilities Design and develop data pipelines using Google Cloud Platform services including Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, and Airflow (DAGs) Perform data ingestion, preparation, and reporting to support business intelligence and analytics needs Coordinate and provide technical leadership to X-X offshore engineers Write and optimise complex SQL queries for data processing and reporting Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver scalable solutions Required Skills Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) Proficiency with Dataflow, Dataproc, Cloud Pub/Sub, and Apache Airflow (DAGs) Strong SQL skills Solid background in Data Engineering - ingestion, preparation, and reporting Experience coordinating or leading offshore engineering teams Preferred Skills Experience with additional Google Cloud Platform data services Familiarity with data warehousing and BI reporting tools Location & Work Model Phoenix, AZ - Onsite Engagement Details Long-term contract engagement.
