Senior Mobile Systems Engineer Duration:

Location:
Burlingame, Sunnyvale, MPK (CA) or
NYC, NY Summary:
The client is looking for a Senior Mobile Systems Engineer with client-server experiences
Must-Have HARD Skills:
Mobile
- Experience building mobile products in Kotlin/Swift with distributed backends
Concurrency & Async - Experience in multithreaded, event-driven systems
System Engineering - Architecture design, performance optimization, system reliability improvements
Nice-to-have Skills:
Wearables
- Experience building wearable products (glasses, watches, MR headsets, etc)
C++/
Rust:
Proficient system programming in either programming language
AI/ML Engineering
- LLM prompt tuning, evaluation, tool calling, and agent workflows
Years of Experience:
10+ years 7+ with NTH skills, open to considering
Key Projects/Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Proficient in Kotlin or Swift, async programming
Design and implement software systems spanning wearable devices, IOS/Android mobile applications, and distributed backend services
Strong understanding of memory management, resource ownership, race conditions and deadlock preventions
Debug race conditions, thread-safety issues, and complex concurrency issues
Optimize CPU, memory, latency and system reliabilities
Verbal and written comms skills
