ABOUT THE ROLE

At Ansync Labs, we build complete systems under one roof. Our team spans software, PCB design, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and precision machining. As a software engineer here, you aren't isolated behind a desk writing abstract code - you operate at the center of a multidisciplinary engineering team, working directly alongside electrical, mechanical, and fabrication engineers to bring physical systems to life. We partner with fast-paced startups, defense contractors, research institutions, and independent inventors while actively running internal R D in cutting-edge electronics, computer vision, and operational tooling. We're looking for engineers who live and breathe getting hands-on with technology and building complex systems in a dynamic, high-velocity environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Architect and build solutions ranging from embedded firmware and IoT devices to web/mobile applications and cloud backends. Work directly with hardware engineers, machinists, and clients to turn high-level concepts into reliable, production-ready systems. Implement rigorous testing strategies (unit, integration, and hardware-in-the-loop) to ensure stability, safety, and performance. Utilize AI-assisted development tools (like Claude Code) to accelerate execution, focusing your creative effort on system design, logic, and verification.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Strong technical communication skills with a team-first approach to problem-solving, code reviews, and working across hardware and software boundaries. Hands-on experience with C on embedded platforms (STM32, n

RF52, ESP32

) and modern software stacks (JavaScript, Node.js, Flutter, GCP, Firebase). Experience writing Verilog for FPGA platforms (e.g., Lattice, Altera) to interface with microcontrollers and custom hardware. Deep understanding of testing methodologies and how to verify that complex systems behave reliably in production. Practical experience integrating AI coding tools (Claude Code, Copilot, etc.) into your workflow while maintaining high architectural standards. A drive to understand how things work under the hood, with the confidence to take ownership of open-ended problems and learn unfamiliar tech on the fly.

REQUIREMENTS

This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person under 22 C.F.R. § 120.62. Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year university and 1-2 years of applicable professional experience, OR 5+ years of applicable professional experience without a degree. Pay:

$80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
