Technical Lead - Systems Engineer KPIT Technologies GmbH - 3.7 Fremont, CA Job Details Full-time 14 hours ago Qualifications Access control systems Systems engineering Stakeholder management Full Job Description The candidate will function as an extended member of the customer's engineering team, with responsibility for cross-functional coordination and technical alignment.
Key expectations include:
Working day-to-day with the Customer's Systems Engineer, serving as the primary counterpart. Driving cross-functional alignment across multiple stakeholder groups, including: o Access control ECU owners o Mobile application and/or Cloud/Backend teams o Cybersecurity and PKI teams o Validation and Certification teams o EE Architecture and Network teams The Systems Engineer will support the definition, development, and alignment of the Digital Key feature across the following domains: Vehicle Access Functions Phone as a Key (PaaK) Technologies Credential Lifecycle Management Security and Privacy Required Skills Strong understanding of the Digital Key domain and related ecosystems Experience with automotive access control systems, including: o Body Control Module (BCM) and access ECU interactions o RF, BLE, UWB, and NFC technologies and concepts Working knowledge of certification processes within digital key ecosystems Hands-on experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), including: SysML modeling Requirements traceability Model baselining and version control Demonstrated expertise in requirements engineering using INCOSE-aligned best practices Preferred Skills Foundational knowledge of cybersecurity concepts, such as: Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Certificates and secure key storage Threat modeling Experience delivering end-to-end features spanning vehicle, mobile, and cloud systems Familiarity with automotive communication networks and in-vehicle architecture Digital Key,Key Domain,Body Control Module ,Electrical Control Unit,BLE ,UWB,NFC secure storage,PKI,Secure Key Storage,Digital Certificates
