Project Description This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, data engineering, and data product development for a leading enterprise client. The engineer will build reusable platform capabilities and data products enabling quantitative researchers to discover, access, and consume data across a complex data landscape, then accelerate promising prototypes into production. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and enhance platform capabilities within Databricks and related technologies Build reusable data products and self-service capabilities Design and maintain data pipelines and integration frameworks Improve data quality, reliability, lineage, and monitoring Partner with researchers to prototype solutions and establish patterns that streamline research-to-production delivery Mandatory Skills 8+ years of platform and data solutions experience Hands-on Databricks experience (workspace, notebooks, jobs) and platform capability development Python SQL Modern CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform strongly preferred) Data governance and observability (Unity Catalog, lineage, monitoring) Orchestration (Airflow) AI fluency — hands-on use of AI agents (Claude Code preferred) to design, build, test, and support solutions Nice-to-Have Skills Financial domain experience, especially quant research API development PowerBI To Apply Send resumes to
