We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with hands-on experience in warehouse automation, industrial control systems, and system integration. This role focuses on ensuring reliability, performance, and uptime of Addverb's proprietary warehouse solutions, including ConcinityWES, PLC
libraries, vision systems, fleet management tools, and real-time data exchange platforms. The ideal candidate will possess deep technical expertise in configuring and maintaining complex industrial software and hardware systems, leveraging custom-developed tools and templates to monitor, optimize, and troubleshoot high-throughput warehouse environments.Key Responsibilities:
System Configuration & Deployment:
Configure and optimize workflows using Concinity , Addverb's proprietary Warehouse Execution System (WES), to manage task allocation and equipment coordination. Deploy and calibrate control systems using the AT Card Configurator for Addverb's shuttles, conveyors, and cranes.PLC Programming & Integration:
Utilize Addverb's custom PLC libraries and code templates in platforms such as Siemens TIA Portal, Omron Sysmac Studio, Beckhoff TwinCAT, and Allen-Bradley Studio 5000. Develop, debug, and standardize logic for motor control, diagnostics, fault detection, and alarm handling.Data Connectivity & API Testing:
Build and manage configurations in Kepware KEPServerEX for secure and efficient data exchange between machine-level PLCs and SCADA/MES/cloud systems. Test and validate real-time API calls using Postman , ensuring seamless communication across WES, WMS, and edge devices.Fleet & Sensor System Management:
Operate Addverb's Fleet Management System (FMS) to configure robot paths, mission logic, obstacle handling, and battery systems. Calibrate and configure barcode scanners and safety devices using SOPAS Engineering Suite and Cognex/Keyence vision tools.Monitoring & Diagnostics:
Leverage the Addverb Service Portal for logging breakdowns, conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and trackingMTBF/MTTR.
Utilize the Remote Monitoring Toolkit (VPN, diagnostic scripts, SSH tools) to access and troubleshoot live systems.Data Acquisition & Analytics:
Run proprietary Python/SQL data acquisition scripts , feeding predictive analytics dashboards and internal historian systems. Ensure operational and performance validation usingIQ/OQ/PQ
digital forms tailored to customer KPIs.Documentation & Training:
Contribute to and utilize internal SOPs and e-learning portals to support cross-functional teams and train engineers in standard procedures and tools.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Automation, or a related field. Minimum 5-7 years of hands-on professional experience in warehouse automation, industrial control systems, or a related SRE/Systems Engineering role. Strong knowledge of PLC programming , SCADA/MES , and robotics integration . Proficient in Python, SQL , and using industrial diagnostic and configuration tools. Experience with API testing tools (Postman) and industrial communication protocols. Ability to interpret electrical schematics, network diagrams, and sensor configurations.Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with Addverb's automation ecosystem is a strong advantage. Experience with vision systems (Cognex, Keyence) , barcode readers, and advanced sensor calibration. Exposure to Historian dashboards , predictive maintenance strategies, and fleet logistics. Excellent problem-solving skills and a structured approach to system reliability and performance.Benefits
