As a Lab Engineer II, you will be part of the Capture Systems Engineering department supporting research and development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and excellent communication abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

  • 60 per hour What's the Job?
Conduct data capture sessions, data annotations, processing, and quality assurance using both commercial and proprietary software and hardware. Support and help maintain capture laboratories to ensure optimal operation and safety. Assemble, debug, and verify capture systems based on predefined needs and specifications by collaborating with hardware engineers, vendors, and research teams. Test existing capture systems end-to-end for accuracy and correctness, identifying sources of error and isolating issues to specific components. Provide technical feedback to improve system quality, stability, and output by monitoring system performance and infrastructure effectiveness. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience. Proficiency with Linux and Windows operating systems and command-line tools. Experience working in a production capture environment with multi-camera systems, depth sensors, IMUs, and related hardware. Strong troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues. Hands-on experience with joint hardware/software design, development, and integration in applied research or product development settings. What's in it for me?
