Job Description Insight Global is seeking a General Engineer to support the Future Operationally Resilient Ground Evolution (FORGE) Lead Integration, Test, and Evaluation with 24/7 Operational Support (FLITE+) program at Buckley Space Force Base. This individual will play a key role supporting the integration, testing, and sustainment of complex ground and space systems within a mission-critical, classified environment.
Responsibilities include:
Lead system and segment-level integration planning and execution efforts.
Develop and maintain ground system integration plans.
Coordinate and manage integration events, milestones, and schedules.
Create test plans, procedures, and supporting documentation.
Execute verification and validation activities to ensure system performance and compliance.
Identify, track, and resolve integration risks and technical issues.
Support technical baseline management and configuration control processes.
Assist cybersecurity efforts and RMF compliance activities.
Facilitate cross-functional engineering and integration working groups.
Collaborate with government, engineering, cybersecurity, and operations teams to support continuous delivery of software and hardware capabilities.
Compensation:
$120,000.00 to $129,000.00 per year annual salary.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role may include healthcare insurance offerings and paid leave as provided by applicable law. Skills and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.14+ years of systems integration or systems engineering experience.
Experience supporting the integration of complex ground systems, space systems, or satellite-related programs.
Strong understanding of system integration, test, and verification/validation processes.
Experience leading or coordinating integration events and resolving technical deficiencies.
Knowledge of configuration management and technical baseline management.
Familiarity with Risk Management Framework (RMF) and cybersecurity compliance requirements.
Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional engineering environment.
Active TS/SCI clearance or ability to operate in a TS/SCI classified environment.
Experience supporting U.S. Space Force, Space Systems Command, or Space Domain Awareness programs.
Prior experience supporting FORGE or other missile warning/missile tracking systems.
Background in Integration, Test & Evaluation (IT&E) activities.
Experience supporting Agile, DevSecOps, or continuous delivery environments.
Knowledge of satellite ground systems architecture and operations.
Experience with government acquisition, system modernization, or large-scale defense integration programs.
Previous support of highly classified DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
