Lockheed Martin is looking for an energetic and high performing Systems Engineer to join the team in Boulder, CO. This position is in support of the Enterprise Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) Solution (EOS) program. What does this role look like?- Have general knowledge of system architecture and ongoing/future changes to system affecting system design at a high level; also understanding program processes
- Prepare for and participate in program meetings, boards, and design reviews
- Ensure requirements are captured and allocated to appropriate tests
- Perform technical detailed test planning, system integration and testing for verification and validation
- Support System Certification Activities Desired skills
- Experience supporting OPIR and/or SBIRS mission processing environments
- Familiarity with IT and Weapon System Architecture (WAA) certification and accreditation activities
- Proven ability to analyze complex technical data and develop executable solutions under tight, schedule-driven constraints, including working with incomplete or conflicting information
- Experience collaborating with hardware and software development teams to ensure mission requirements are effectively implemented
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong presentation skills and the ability to brief both technical and non-technical audiences
- Ability to thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments while managing multiple roles and priorities across program operations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build consensus and foster effective working relationships across cross-functional teams

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay Statement Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $89,300 - $157,550. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.Benefits offered:

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
