$120K - $140K (DOE)Position OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Firmware Software Engineer to join a high-performing engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will be responsible for architecting, developing, and delivering embedded firmware solutions while mentoring other engineers and driving engineering best practices.

This role offers the opportunity to work across the full product lifecycle-from concept through production-while collaborating closely with hardware, product, and manufacturing teams.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead development of embedded firmware for advanced hardware systemsArchitect and implement scalable, high-performance firmware solutionsDrive full software development lifecycle (requirements, design, development, testing, and release)Develop and optimize low-level drivers for hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, ADC, GPIO, sensors, etc.)Partner with hardware engineers to define and refine system architectureConduct design reviews, code reviews, and technical evaluationsTroubleshoot and resolve complex firmware and system-level issuesSupport manufacturing, field applications, and sustaining engineering effortsEstablish and improve firmware development processes and standardsMentor and guide junior engineersQualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field5+ years of experience in embedded firmware developmentStrong proficiency in C/C++ (including bare-metal programming)Experience writing low-level drivers and working directly with hardware componentsProven track record of successfully releasing products to marketExperience with version control and issue tracking tools (Git, GitLab, etc.)Strong debugging and analytical skillsAbility to work cross-functionally with hardware, systems, and product teamsExcellent communication and leadership skillsBenefitsCompetitive SalaryMedical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceDisability InsuranceLife Insurance401kPaid Time OffPaid Holidays
