Job Description The Key responsibilities of the QMS Engineer are: Lead and maintain Quality Management Systems including
ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO
14001, and
ISO 45001
compliance programs. Plan, conduct, and manage internal and external audits while driving corrective and preventive actions. Collaborate with cross-functional manufacturing, engineering, and operational teams to improve processes and system performance. Manage OEM customer quality requirements, customer concerns, and quality improvement initiatives. Facilitate root cause analysis, FMEA activities, risk assessments, and continuous improvement projects. Support PPAP documentation, IMDS submissions, environmental compliance efforts, and customer-facing quality activities. The Successful Applicant The Successful QMS Engineer will have: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related technical discipline. 5+ years of experience in Quality Systems, Quality Engineering, or Quality Management within a manufacturing environment Strong expertise with
ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO
14001, and
ISO 45001
standards and implementation. Hands-on experience conducting audits, managing corrective actions, and driving compliance initiatives. Working knowledge of PPAP, FMEA, IMDS, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and OEM quality processes. Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
