About the role; As a Systems Engineer III will support our AWS Cloud infrastructure, automation, and operational tasks. Researchers and healthcare professionals rely on over 2,800 journals, including The Lancet and Cell; 46,000+ eBook titles; and iconic reference w orks, such as Gray's Anatomy. AWS Infrastructure Key Responsibilities:
Supporting cloud infrastructure deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting in a cloud environment(AWS). Assisting in automating operational tasks and workflows to improve efficiency. Contributing to the implementation of scalable, resilient application architectures. Supporting documentation and operational procedures to ensure best practices. Collaborate with team members to support ongoing projects and initiatives. Supporting process improvements and automation efforts. Troubleshooting infrastructure and deployment issues, escalating as neededQualifications:
Experience supporting cloud infrastructure, automation, or Dev Ops tasks. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS). have a foundational understanding of Cloud and DevOps tools and a proactive attitude toward operational support and automation. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform. Scripting skills in Python or Go. Knowledge of container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, Helm, or ArgoCD. Have support and troubleshooting skills in cloud and containerized environments. Possess a proactive approach to automating repetitive tasks and operational workflows. Proficiency with Linux operating systems, including system administration, command-line tools, and troubleshooting.
