  • Bachelors degree from in a related discipline with 3+ years of experience, or equivalent combined education/experience
  • Experience in system/software dependencies, process flow and development methodologies
  • Experience supporting System & Software Engineering requirements, design, integration and test activities in an Agile Development Framework (in particular DevSecOps) as an active team member/participant
  • Experienced in Root Cause Analysis methodologies and development of Corrective Action Plans and facilitating RCCA events
  • Ability to conduct and document process audits and evaluations.

Software Quality Engineer Sr Job Description You will be the Systems and Software Quality Engineer for the Systems and Software Quality Engineering team. Our team is responsible for developing and maintaining quality processes that align with AS9100, program, and customer requirements. What You Will Be Doing Lockheed Martin is seeking a Systems and Software Quality Engineer to develop and maintain common processes that support high‑quality software and software‑based systems. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Develop, modify, and apply quality principles to the development and use of software and software‑based systems for make‑and‑buy products. Define operating criteria and audit strategies to ensure compliance with project, process, and contract requirements. Design and implement software development and maintenance processes, including test methods for inspection, verification, and validation. Evaluate and analyze software quality systems for deficiencies, ensuring measures meet acceptable reliability standards. Perform software product reviews, traceability verification, and support travel to program sites as needed. National Pay Statement Pay Rate:
The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,500 - $150,765. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered:

(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays.
