We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Specialist, Software Engineer/Cloud Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold an active TS/SCI clearance and work onsite at Patrick Space Force Base. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based applications using Amazon Web Services (AWS).Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage experience in cloud development in AWS to build robust cloud-based applications.
- Migrate existing applications into cloud-based architecture
- Ensure that the applications are scalable, secure, and cost-effective by utilizing the best practices and services provided by AWS.
- Engage in daily interactions with customers to understand their requirements and provide suitable cloud-based solutions.
- Produce detailed documentation to support the design, development, and deployment processes, ensuring clarity and reproducibility.
- Adapt to support various mission areas, demonstrating flexibility and a strong commitment to achieving mission success.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance.
- DoD IAT Level II Certification (e.
Preferred Additional Skills:
- On-site/field experience.
- Cloud migration experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to brief both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience with automating deployments and configuration of EC2 instances.
- Familiarity with the C2S Access Portal (CAP) and high-side AWS environments.
- Experience with configuration of Gitlab pipelines for automated deployment of cloud resources.
- Proficiency in designing, developing, configurating, and deploying cloud-based applications using AWS services.
- A collaborative team player with experience working in a dynamic team environment.
