Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a Specialist, Software Engineer/Cloud Developer to support a mission-critical program onsite at Patrick Space Force Base in Melbourne, FL. This individual will join a highly collaborative team responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud-based solutions within Amazon Web Services (AWS). The ideal candidate will bring strong AWS cloud development experience and a proven ability to migrate legacy applications into modern cloud architectures. This person will work closely with customers on a daily basis to gather requirements, recommend cloud-based solutions, and ensure successful implementation of mission objectives. The role requires strong technical documentation skills and the flexibility to support multiple mission areas as priorities evolve. Key responsibilities include developing and deploying cloud-native applications, automating infrastructure and application deployments, supporting cloud migration efforts, configuring AWS resources, and maintaining best practices related to scalability, security, and cost optimization. The candidate will also collaborate with technical teams to build and maintain deployment pipelines, troubleshoot cloud environments, and support operational mission success. This is a 100% onsite opportunity and cannot be performed remotely. Candidates must possess an active TS/SCI clearance prior to starting.
