This dynamic role offers an exciting opportunity to shape cloud strategies, drive scalable system architectures, and ensure robust cloud security across diverse platforms. As a pivotal leader in cloud computing initiatives, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance, reliable, and secure cloud services that empower our organization's digital transformation. Your expertise will help us harness the full potential of public cloud environments, including AWS, Google Cloud Platform, and Azure. Responsibilities Designs, implements, and maintains scalable, secure, and highly available cloud architectures within Microsoft Azure to support enterprise applications and services. Serves as a technical lead and subject matter expert for Microsoft Azure cloud solutions, providing guidance to development, infrastructure, and security teams on best practices and architecture standards. Develops and enforces cloud governance, architecture standards, and operational procedures as part of the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE). Establish best practices for cloud security and compliance, including FedRAMP standards and identity & access management (IAM) solutions. Automates infrastructure provisioning and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Cloudshell, and Azure Templates. Monitors system performance, availability, and cost optimization across Azure and other cloud environments, implementing improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability. Leads cloud migration efforts, including assessment, planning, design, and execution of on-premises to cloud transitions. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to design and deliver cloud-based solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. Experience Proven experience in solution architecture for cloud computing environments with a strong understanding of service-oriented architecture (SOA). Extensive hands-on expertise with major cloud platforms such as AWS (including Amazon VPC), Google Cloud Platform, Azure, Rackspace, Citrix, and OpenStack. Deep knowledge of virtualization technologies including VMware and Hyper-V; familiarity with operating systems like Linux and Windows. Strong background in implementing cloud security measures—familiarity with FedRAMP compliance is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to design and manage scalable systems using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet; experience with container orchestration via Kubernetes is essential. Experience leading large-scale cloud migration projects involving complex application development using JavaScript, Python, Java, Ruby on Rails or similar languages. Supports on-call rotations and responds to incidents, outages, and emergency situations as needed. Join us to shape the future of our cloud infrastructure!
