We are seeking a motivated Staff Workflow Platform Engineer to help build, test and support enterprise workflow, orchestration and intelligent automation solutions. The successful candidate will contribute to workflow services, API integrations, platform components, testing and operational support while developing deeper expertise in modern automation technologies. This junior developer role is ideal for candidates who possess experience or practical exposure to at least one programming language, workflow platform, BPM technology, orchestration engine or low-code platform and are interested in learning across a broader ecosystem. Key Responsibilities Workflow & Platform Engineering Develop and enhance workflow services, workers, APIs, connectors and reusable platform components under team guidance. Implement assigned user stories using established architecture, coding standards and delivery practices. Configure BPMN processes, forms, business rules, human tasks and integration points. Support workflow deployment, versioning, monitoring and technical documentation activities. Contribute to automation solutions that use case management, business rules or event-driven workflows. Integration & Automation Build and test integrations with enterprise applications, APIs, messaging systems and cloud services. Apply REST API, JSON and basic event-driven integration patterns. Assist with reusable connectors and integration components for multiple business solutions. Support intelligent automation capabilities involving AI services, document processing or automation platforms. Cloud & Engineering Excellence Write maintainable code, unit tests and supporting technical documentation. Participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies and team knowledge-sharing activities. Support CI/CD, deployment, debugging and defect resolution activities. Follow enterprise standards for security, quality, compliance and operational support. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience. 1-3 years of software development, integration, application configuration or automation experience. Experience with at least one programming language or workflow/low-code platform. Basic understanding of APIs, databases, Git and software development lifecycle practices. Ability to learn new technologies and work effectively in an Agile team environment. Workflow & Automation Platform Experience Candidates should possess experience, academic exposure, certification, internship or project work with at least one platform from either of the two categories listed below. Open BPM & Orchestration Platforms Camunda 7 / Camunda 8, Flowable, Fluxnova or Temporal. Low-Code Platforms Pega Infinity, Appian, Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow Workflow Automation or IBM Business Automation Workflow. Business Process & Workflow Knowledge- Preferred

- $69,300 to $128,500 All other offices locations in the US, including Sacramento
- $55,400 to $113,000 Individual salaries within these ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
