Job Description

Lead Cloud Platform Developer Are you passionate about cloud technologies, automation, and building platform capabilities that empower development teams? We are seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Platform Developer to lead the design, implementation, and operational support of cloud platform capabilities, automation solutions, and shared infrastructure services that accelerate cloud adoption and improve developer productivity across the enterprise.

What You'll Do:
Design, implement, and drive adoption of cloud platform tooling, automation, reusable services, and engineering capabilities that improve developer productivity and operational efficiency. Lead complex platform initiatives from design through implementation, operational support, and continuous improvement. Serve as the primary technical escalation point for cloud platform challenges, providing architectural guidance and implementation direction. Design, build, and support CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and release automation processes using modern DevOps practices. Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolution of complex platform issues and major incidents across cloud environments. Develop and enhance cloud platform capabilities that enable secure, scalable, and reliable application delivery. Contribute to the development and evolution of enterprise cloud standards, governance practices, and engineering best practices. Partner with application development teams to support cloud migrations, platform onboarding, environment modernization, and adoption initiatives. Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, design discussions, mentoring, and code reviews that improve engineering quality and consistency. Collaborate with Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure Operations, and development teams to ensure platform solutions meet business, security, reliability, and operational requirements. Promote operational excellence through automation, monitoring, observability, security controls, and continuous improvement efforts. Support business functions across the enterprise by delivering shared cloud services and reusable platform capabilities that accelerate engineering effectiveness. What It Takes to
Join Our Team:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Five (5) or more years of experience in cloud engineering, infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, DevOps, or related technical roles. Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Azure cloud architecture, cloud-native services, and operational best practices. Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably Terraform. Experience designing, implementing, and supporting CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions or similar technologies. Strong knowledge of cloud networking, security controls, monitoring solutions, and platform operations. Experience designing and implementing reusable platform capabilities, automation solutions, and shared infrastructure services. Demonstrated ability to lead complex technical initiatives from design through implementation and operational support. Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead resolution of complex technical issues and major incidents. Experience mentoring developers, conducting technical reviews, and providing implementation guidance to technical teams. Ability to balance technical delivery, operational excellence, and customer enablement while supporting multiple stakeholders. Azure certifications such as AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-305, and/or AZ-400 are preferred. Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain a professional demeanor. Must be able to write, speak, and read the English language.
