A Lead Systems Engineer defines and develops complex system architectures, requirements, and integration strategies across hardware and software platforms, providing expert-level technical leadership to ensure robust system performance and influence future product frameworks.

• Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• + Lead system architecture definition, requirements development, and documentation for complex, multi-layered systems (20%).

+ Develop and maintain system specifications, interface control documents, test plans, test procedures, test reports, and related engineering documents (20%). + Oversee system and subsystem integration and acceptance testing, ensuring hardware and software elements meet functional and performance requirements (20%). + Guide system, hardware, and software design activities by analyzing requirements, resolving design weaknesses, and ensuring cross-platform compatibility (20%). + Perform and coordinate advanced engineering analyses supporting detailed design of components, assemblies, and system-level solutions (20%).

• Representative Qualifications:

• + Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline; Master's preferred.

+ 8-12+ years of progressive systems engineering experience supporting complex hardware/software products. + Expert knowledge of system architecture, requirements development, and integration practices. + Strong proficiency in generating and maintaining engineering documentation, including ICDs, test plans, and requirements specifications. + Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering efforts and resolve multi-disciplinary design issues. + Experience conducting detailed system analyses, integration testing, and verification/validation activities. + Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical leadership skills. _No unsolicited agency submittals please.
