Job Description

Our leading manufacturing company, serving industries such as electric vehicles, transformers, motors, generators, and automotive applications, is seeking a Quality Systems Engineer to join our NE Indiana team. This role is responsible for supporting customer quality and manufacturing quality by serving as a liaison between customers, operations, engineering, and quality teams. Investigates customer complaints, returns, nonconformances, and internal quality issues; identifies root cause; and leads corrective and preventive actions to reduce defects, improve process capability, and enhance customer satisfaction. Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with 5+ years of manufacturing quality engineering experience.
  • 5+ years of experience working with manufacturing quality systems, with hands-on knowledge of
IATF 16949.
  • 3+ years of experience using statistical quality tools, including SPC, process capability analysis, DOE, or similar methods.
  • 3+ years of experience leading or supporting corrective actions, audits, customer quality issues, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and continuously improve the company's ISO 9001 and
IATF 16949
quality management systems.
  • Work directly with customers and internal teams to resolve quality complaints, returns, and nonconformances.
  • Lead root-cause investigations and corrective/preventive actions to reduce defects and improve process capability.
  • Support PPAP, APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, DOE, and other quality improvement activities.
  • Lead internal, external, customer, and certification audits while ensuring findings are properly addressed.
  • Develop and deliver quality training to supervisors, engineers, technicians, and production employees.
