Responsibilities include supporting Generative AI initiatives with Vertex AI, ensuring security and compliance through IAM/RBAC, and developing automated CI/CD pipelines with tools such as Jenkins or Google Cloud Build. The candidate will provide technical leadership, mentorship, and foster continuous learning within the team. Qualifications required are a minimum of three years of recent GCP or similar cloud experience, a bachelor's degree, and proficiency in cloud architecture, infrastructure as code, and scripting in Unix/Linux environments. Knowledge of networking, security protocols, container technologies, and monitoring tools is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are also important. Additional skills include developing data and analytics applications, experience with Terraform, Ansible, and source control systems like GIT, along with a solid understanding of security practices and scalable systems development.
