Job Requirements Belcamp, MD Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Systems Engineer to join our team in Belcamp, MD . This is an onsite position. The Systems Engineer will work in support of the Army for the Product Technical Support Services (PTSS) program. Efforts are needed for PTSS for systems and equipment being produced, fielded, modified or supported by PdM Network Modernization (NetMod) and PdM Mission Network of the Project Manager (PM) Command Control(C2) Transport and Command Program Executive for C2 Information Network (CPE C2IN). This support may also include future systems and equipment that is acquired for the Army to maintain its technological advantage Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Interacting with system users to translate their requirements into systems, hardware, and software requirements and design. Install, configure, update, and validate hardware and software functionality. Troubleshoot problems at the component or systems level as they arise. Create documentation for new hardware, software, systems, and features as they are introduced and update existing documentation as changes occur. Edit documentation to remove incorrect or obsolete information. Record and track all issues. Ensure all concerned parties are informed. Work with customers, field users, vendors and other engineers to provide fixes or work arounds to reduce the impact of the issue. Create Detailed Technical Publications (DTP's) providing fixes or work arounds for other engineers, customer personnel, and field users. Participates in testing activities and IA activities. Understand and participate in the STIG ( Security Technical Implementation Guide) process. Education waiver may be requested on a case by case basis. Maintain a thorough working knowledge of Tactical Network hardware and software systems as they relate to large-scale battlefield communications at all echelons and ensure that PdM NetMod and PdM Mission Network systems are Fully Mission Capable (FMC) following Initial Fielding, Reset or Upgrade and are therefore ready for the unit and ready to be utilized for missions
