Varen, an SAIC company is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Systems Engineer to join our team! This position is located in Suitland, MD and requires an active TS/SCI with polygraph to be considered. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supports and oversees all infrastructure team operations and maintenance tasks for deployed operational solutions (Citrix, Microsoft, NetApp, VMware). Troubleshoots and resolves issues, including root cause analysis. Maintains documentation for infrastructure, systems, subsystems, and components. Works with the IT Architecture and Engineering team to research, analyze, and assess new technologies for infrastructure modernization. Proposes new solutions to the government with proof of concept for consideration by the Configuration Control Board. Bachelors and fourteen (14) years or more experience; Masters and twelve (12) years or more experience; PhD or JD and nine (9) years or more experience. Work experience may be considered in lieu of degree. Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
