Fluid & Distributed Systems Engineer - Fuel / Hydraulics

Mechanical systems engineering role focused on designing and integrating fluid and distributed systems for vehicle platforms across prototype, production, and sustainment phases. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering Electrical Engineering degree considered with relevant fluid or mechanical systems experience 5-7 years of experience in mechanical or fluid systems engineering Strong understanding of hydraulics, fuel systems, or distributed mechanical systems Experience designing and developing fluid and distributed systems Experience integrating components into vehicle platforms while meeting performance, safety, and environmental requirements Experience supporting prototype builds and/or production builds Experience with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system integration Experience performing tolerance analysis, design reviews, and engineering change support CAD experience with NX or Creo Ability to travel up to 20% Preferred Skills Teamcenter experience Experience with military ground vehicles or heavy equipment Familiarity with shock and vibration requirements Familiarity with mounting systems Experience with ruggedized design Exposure to fire suppression systems Exposure to thermal management systems Functional architecture development Schematic development Analytical modeling for fluid systems Job Responsibilities Design and develop fluid and distributed systems, including hydraulics, fuel systems, fire suppression, and cooling systems Integrate components into vehicle platforms while meeting performance, safety, and environmental requirements Support prototype builds, production efforts, and sustainment activities Perform tolerance analysis, design reviews, and engineering change support Develop functional architectures, schematics, and analytical models for fluid systems Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for system issues Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams Present design concepts, risks, and program updates to leadership
