Type:
full-time VBA is looking for an early-career IT Systems Engineer to work alongside our Director of IT and gain hands-on experience supporting real business technology environments. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with technology, solving problems, learning new systems, and occasionally going on-site to help deploy technology for clients.
As VBA grows, this role will have opportunities to take ownership of larger systems and deployment projects.
What You'll DoConfigure and deploy computers, phones, peripherals, and other business technology.
Assist with Microsoft 365 and user/device setup.
Help deploy and support business phone and VoIP/SIP systems.
Travel to client locations in the St. Louis area for installations and technical support when needed.
Troubleshoot hardware, software, connectivity, access, and configuration issues.
Assist with employee technology onboarding and offboarding.
Test equipment and systems before deployment.
Maintain clear documentation for configurations and deployments.
Assist the Director of IT with infrastructure, security, and other technology projects.
Help evaluate and implement new technology as VBA and its products grow.
What We're Looking ForCurrent student, recent graduate, or early-career professional interested in IT, systems engineering, information systems, or a related field.
Comfortable troubleshooting computers and learning unfamiliar technology.
Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to research solutions.
Able to communicate professionally with team members and clients.
Dependable and able to work independently after receiving direction.
Comfortable performing occasional on-site work in the St. Louis area.
