Palantir Platform Lead About the role Our client is in the early stages of an enterprise-wide Palantir Foundry and AIP implementation , following a strategic partnership with Palantir. Initial products have been developed alongside Palantir Forward Deployed Engineers (FDEs), and the organisation is now building its internal engineering capability to take ownership of the platform, scale adoption and establish effective governance. They are looking for an experienced Palantir Platform Lead with strong hands-on Palantir Foundry experience to establish the architecture, engineering standards and best practices that will support the next stage of the platform's development. This is a senior technical leadership position, combining hands-on platform architecture with engineering governance, technical direction and team mentoring. You will work closely with Palantir FDEs while helping transition ownership to internal engineering teams and driving wider enterprise adoption of Foundry and AIP. Main responsibilities Lead the architecture and technical direction of the Palantir Foundry platform. Define governance frameworks, engineering standards and platform best practices. Partner with Palantir Forward Deployed Engineers while progressively transitioning platform ownership to internal engineering teams. Design scalable Ontology, data models and application architectures. Mentor engineering teams and provide technical leadership across multiple product squads. Guide full-stack engineering decisions across backend, frontend and platform components. Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, maintainable and aligned with enterprise requirements. Drive enterprise adoption of Palantir Foundry and AIP across the organisation. Provide technical direction on platform architecture and engineering decisions as the implementation scales. Support engineering teams in establishing consistent approaches to development, architecture and platform delivery. Requirements Extensive hands-on experience delivering solutions using Palantir Foundry . Strong understanding of Ontology, Pipelines, Workshop and AIP . Strong full-stack software engineering background. Proven experience defining architecture, governance, engineering standards and best practices. Ability to mentor senior engineers and influence technical direction across multiple teams. Experience working alongside or within Palantir Forward Deployed Engineering teams is highly desirable. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to provide technical direction across engineering teams and product squads.
