Cloud Specialist(Local to MS) absiusa Jackson, MS Job Details $1 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Linux support Windows Virtualization tools Programming languages Server virtualization Windows support Cloud automation Amazon VPC Server management automation Automation tools Linux administration Virtual Private Clouds Active Directory management Full Job Description Position Description and Job Skill Set Develops and modifies scalable architecture to support applications and infrastructure-as-a-service (IAAS) and platform-as-a-service (PAAS) platforms. Ensures the security and compliance of cloud environments, including data protection and privacy. Moves existing on-premises applications, workloads, and databases to public cloud platforms safely. Monitors and analyzes cloud infrastructure performance to identify and resolve issues proactively. Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize cloud-based environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. Designs controls and processes that utilize available audit tools. Maintains up-to-date and extensive knowledge of cloud products and technology. Required Skills/Experience Proficiency in major public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with automation and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Understanding of cloud networking, virtual private clouds (VPCs), and firewalls. Advanced VM management, Windows Server/Active Directory, and Linux administration. Preferred/Not Required Preferred skills/experience 5-6+ years working with AWS or Microsoft Azure. Prior government or regulated industry experience.
