Engineering Job Description/Requirements - Senior Firmware/Design Engineer Primary responsibility will be to work with Marketing & Sales force to evolve product specifications and associated design schedules and then lead the firmware/hardware development effort on a range of endpoint power management products.
Additional responsibilities:
Support CNC machine tools, wire crimping machines, and wire stripping machines Design production and calibration equipment Test Equipment to UL Standards The background of a well-qualified candidate will include: Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering 5+ years experience in embedded C/C++ and assembly language programming Experience with real time operating systems & requirements Firmware design and programming experience with 8-32-bit microprocessors (Microchip/Atmel 8-32 bit), including a thorough understanding of embedded system architecture design and development, as well as maintenance & test capabilities Ability to analyze hardware design documentation to determine appropriate user interface and driver solutions Excellent debugging skills in low level software and hardware Ability to work independently & effectively with little supervision Excellent communication skills Founded in 1976, BayTech is a leading manufacturer of remote site power management equipment, which includes endpoint power control and monitoring devices, as well as communications aggregation equipment to provide integrated managed power solutions to industry
