ASAP Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Data Center Service Lead to oversee enterprise data center services and third-party infrastructure service providers at a large industrial facility in Pascagoula, Mississippi. This is a senior-level infrastructure leadership position responsible for ensuring reliable, secure, and high-quality service delivery across traditional on-premises data centers and hybrid cloud environments. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in enterprise data center operations, Microsoft Azure or AWS, infrastructure governance, compute, security, disaster recovery, and third-party service provider management . Key Responsibilities Lead and govern day-to-day delivery of Data Center Services provided by third-party infrastructure service providers. Oversee provider performance, SLAs, contractual requirements, invoice validation, change management, disaster recovery, and compliance. Provide strategic oversight of enterprise data center operations and ensure alignment with organizational, security, and architectural standards. Support hybrid cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and integrations between cloud and on-premises environments. Review and monitor cloud security controls, including identity management, RBAC, governance policies, and threat protection. Ensure operational continuity and seamless integration between cloud services and traditional data center infrastructure. Lead troubleshooting and resolution of complex infrastructure issues involving performance, connectivity, resiliency, and security. Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture documentation, operational procedures, standards, and governance frameworks. Partner with application, network, cybersecurity, and other technical teams to maintain a secure, scalable, and stable enterprise environment. Serve as a senior escalation point for critical infrastructure issues. Participate in on-call rotations as required. Drive continuous improvement initiatives involving infrastructure modernization, automation, cost optimization, and service-provider performance. Minimum Qualifications Candidates must meet one of the following education and experience combinations: Bachelor's degree + 10 years of relevant experience Master's degree + 8 years of relevant experience PhD + 5 years of relevant experience Preferred Experience Strong candidates will have experience with: Enterprise-scale data center operations Microsoft Azure and/or AWS environments Hybrid cloud infrastructure Cloud servers and virtual machine management Azure networking, storage, identity, and resource governance Azure security tools and security best practices Infrastructure architecture and governance Disaster recovery and business continuity Third-party infrastructure/service-provider management SLA and contract performance management Enterprise compute, storage, and networking environments Experience working in highly regulated, large-scale industrial, manufacturing, defense, government, or mission-critical environments is a plus. Compensation $56.00-$62.00 per hour , depending on qualifications and relevant experience. This position is expected to have an initial duration of approximately one year and is located in Pascagoula, Mississippi .
