Cloud Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce has a client in Merrimack, NH that is seeking a Cloud Engineer.

REQUIREMENTS

• Willingness and ability to learn new technologies, tools, and engineering practices to support shared platforms and internal customers
• Hands-on experience with or exposure to CI/CD tools and pipelines (such as Jenkins), with an interest in improving automated build and deployment workflows
• Basic understanding of networking concepts and security fundamentals, including perimeter security and DMZ environments, or a strong desire to learn in this area
• Experience contributing to service-based architectures, such as microservices, containerized applications, and/or serverless technologies, in a team environment
• Comfort working in fast-paced, iterative development environments with guidance from more senior engineers
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, or experience developing and running applications in cloud environments (preferred)
• Exposure to traffic routing, CDN, or edge technologies (such as Akamai) is a plus
• Exposure to monitoring, logging, or observability tools such as Datadog or Splunk is a plus, with interest in learning operational best practices The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role.

We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
