Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled OpenStack Engineer with strong expertise in cloud platforms, infrastructure automation and Linux systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with OpenStack environments along with solid scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code capabilities to support scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure. Key Responsibilities Design, deploy, and manage OpenStack-based cloud infrastructure. Administered core OpenStack services such as Nova, Neutron, Cinder, and Keystone. Hands-on experience creating and managing instances, images, flavors, security groups, networks, storage, and other OpenStack components. Automate infrastructure provisioning, deployments and configuration using Ansible and Terraform. Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Bash. Manage and administer Linux-based systems across development, staging, and production environments. Support, troubleshoot and optimize OpenStack services (Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, etc.). Maintain documentation for operational procedures and system architecture. Required Technical Skills Category Skills Cloud Platform Strong experience with OpenStack Configuration Management Hands-on expertise with Ansible Infrastructure as Code Experience with Terraform Operating Systems Strong Linux administration skills Programming/Scripting Python and Bash scripting DevOps Practices CI/CD concepts and automation Version Control Git Mandatory Skills OpenStack (core services administration & troubleshooting) Ansible Terraform Linux (strong system administration experience) Python and/or Bash scripting Good to Have Experience with containerization technologies (Docker/Kubernetes) Familiarity with monitoring & logging tools CI/CD pipeline experience (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.) Cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure is a plus) Strong troubleshooting and production support experience
