Job Description
Genesis10 is currently seeking an Infrastructure Support Engineer for a hybrid position (3 days onsite per week required) with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Plano, TX or Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This is a midrange storage and data protection infrastructure support engineer role focused on managing the pre-checks, deployment of vendor-provided micro-code, and post-change validation. The position involves extensive change management and partnering with automation teams to transition manual processes into an automated package.
Responsibilities:
Manage the prechecks, deployment of vendor provided micro-code and post change validation
Oversee change management processes
Partner with automation teams to move manual steps into an automation package
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in Operation Management, Product Lifecycle Management, and Change Management
- Storage experience with support of NetApp, NAS/SAN Dell PowerMax and SAN fabric products and technologies
- Terraform and Python experience to assist with automation of the deployment processes
- Experience with data networking storage & data center technologies
- Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour
