Full Job Description Aegis Integration & Test Engineer Location:
Moorestown, NJ Schedule:
Full-time, onsite; must be available for both first and second shifts
Job Type:
Direct hire We are seeking an experienced Aegis Integration & Test Engineer for a high-paced defense program in Moorestown, NJ. This position requires strong hands-on experience with Aegis combat systems, system integration, test execution and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities:
Support integration, verification and testing of Aegis combat-system capabilities. Develop and execute system test plans, procedures and readiness documentation. Perform requirements-based testing and maintain verification traceability. Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and system-level problems. Investigate anomalies, document results and coordinate corrective actions. Support laboratory and operational test events in a fast-paced environment. Collaborate with systems, software, hardware and customer engineering teams. Work both first and second shifts based on program and testing needs.
Required Qualifications:
Professional experience supporting Aegis Weapon System or Aegis Combat System programs. Strong systems integration, verification and test experience. Experience executing formal test procedures and resolving system anomalies. Working knowledge of Linux and/or UNIX environments. Experience with Aegis computing, radar, weapons, display or command-and-control systems. Ability to read system requirements, interface documentation and technical procedures. Strong technical communication and documentation skills. Ability to work 100% onsite in Moorestown, NJ. Ability to work both first and second shifts. U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of the work. Active DoD security clearance strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Aegis baselines, BMD/BMDS, SPY radar or naval combat systems. Familiarity with DOORS, requirements traceability and test-readiness reviews. Experience supporting shipboard, laboratory, land-based or operational test events. Background troubleshooting integrated hardware, software and network systems.
