Full Job Description Senior Staff Systems Engineer, Control Systems Salary Range:
$138,000 - $185,000 annually We're looking for an experienced Senior Staff Systems Engineer to support the development of complex control systems and related technologies. In this role, you'll be responsible for system modeling and simulation, requirements management, technical documentation, and overall systems engineering activities throughout the development process. The ideal candidate has strong experience with MATLAB/Simulink and a solid background in control systems, actuation systems, or other complex electromechanical products. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze system performance, develop and maintain models, create technical documentation, and help drive projects to successful completion. This position also provides opportunities to mentor other engineers, contribute to process improvements, and help strengthen overall engineering capabilities. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field, along with at least six years of systems engineering experience and three years of hands-on MATLAB/Simulink modeling and simulation experience. Strong communication skills, technical problem-solving abilities, and experience working in collaborative engineering environments are essential. Additional experience with electromechanical system design, brushless DC motors, or advanced control systems is a plus. This position is primarily office-based and requires regular computer work, collaboration with technical teams, and occasional lifting of materials or equipment up to 20 pounds.
