Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary We are seeking a Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Kubernetes to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of cloud and on-premise systems. This role focuses on building resilient infrastructure, automating operations, and optimizing cloud costs while maintaining high system availability. The ideal candidate will collaborate with development and operations teams to improve system efficiency and reliability. Key Responsibilities Ensure reliability, availability, and uptime of critical services and infrastructure Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using GCP services Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to reduce manual effort and improve efficiency Implement monitoring solutions and respond to incidents to minimize downtime Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance system performance and reliability Perform capacity planning and system performance tuning Optimize cloud resource usage and reduce operational costs Maintain documentation for system configurations, processes, and procedures Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field 4+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or a similar role Strong proficiency in GCP services such as Compute Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Pub/Sub Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure Pipelines Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages Understanding of networking concepts and protocols Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with GCP BI and AI/ML tools such as Looker, BigQuery ML, or Vertex AI Experience with service mesh technologies Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills Certifications Google Cloud Professional DevOps Engineer Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
