The company delivers high-quality, large-scale components for defense, aerospace, and energy, enabling reduced lead times, improved material efficiency, and innovative solutions that advance modern industrial manufacturing. We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a hands-on mechatronics skillset to provide front-line technical support, leverage proprietary AML3D software and utilize CAD tools to optimize part design. This role will integrate and troubleshoot robotics hardware and collaborate with global teams to deliver high-performance solutions to customers. This position involves up to 20% travel to support customer deployments, system installations, and on-site troubleshooting. What can we offer

Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in technical support, systems engineering, or customer-facing engineering roles Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred Equivalent experience in similar fields accepted Knowledge of robotics, automation, welding technologies, or advanced manufacturing processes (ABB Robotics or Fronius Welding knowledge a plus) Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills across software and hardware systems Ability to learn proprietary software and CAD modeling systems Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams as well as remote customer teams
Key Responsibilities:
Provide front-line technical support to customers, troubleshooting and resolving software, hardware, and system issues, working with both the U.S. and Australian teams as needed Diagnose, prioritize, and escalate complex technical problems while ensuring timely customer feedback and resolution Maintain strong customer relationships by delivering high-quality support experience and representing the company professionally Utilize CAD based and system software path planning tools to develop production printing files Collaborate with internal software, product development, robotics, and engineering teams to resolve issues and improve system performance Support system builds, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT) both internally and at customer locations Conduct site assessments and provide remote support through customer support tools and portals Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, issues, and resolutions in support systems Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying product or process enhancements and sharing customer feedback Develop and maintain expertise in system technologies, including software, robotics, welding, and mechatronics Does this sound like the position for you?
