A Platform Engineer is responsible for the development of platforms that support the needs and use cases of different engineering teams across the organization. Creates reusable tools and workflows to streamline operational needs and facilitate automation tasks, supporting scalability of DevOps practices.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Azure Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team, focused on designing, deploying, and supporting enterprise-grade Azure data and analytics platforms, including Power BI.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, deploy, and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure and data platform services
Build and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions/Jenkins
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform
Support and optimize Power BI platform environments
Collaborate with data engineering teams on scalable, cost-effective architectures
Troubleshoot platform issues and provide operational support
Required Skills & Experience:
5+ years of hands-on Azure cloud engineering experience
Proficiency in core Azure services: Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Functions, API Management
Strong Azure networking knowledge (VNets, Private Endpoints, NSGs, DNS)
Hands-on Terraform experience for IaC
Jenkins, GitHub & GitHub Actions for source control and CI/CD
Power BI platform administration and deployment experience
Data engineering fundamentals (pipelines, data lakes, ingestion patterns) Nice to
Have:
Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, DP-203)
Experience with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and cost governance
