About the Role We are seeking a talented Systems Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and optimize the infrastructure that powers this great company's business-critical applications and services. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, driving automation, and improving the reliability, scalability, and security of enterprise systems. The successful candidate will work across cloud and on-premises environments, partnering with network, security, application, and operations teams to deliver highly available and secure technology solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and support enterprise infrastructure solutions across physical, virtual, and cloud environments. Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments. Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and identity management solutions. Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity to ensure optimal uptime. Implement infrastructure automation and configuration management solutions. Support disaster recovery, backup, and business continuity initiatives. Maintain system security standards, patching processes, and vulnerability remediation efforts. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues. Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to ensure compliance and security best practices. Document system configurations, environments, and operational procedures. Required Qualifications 5+ years of Systems Engineering or Systems Administration experience. Strong experience supporting enterprise Windows Server environments. Experience with VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, or other virtualization platforms.
Deep understanding of:
Active Directory Group Policy
DNS DHCP TCP/IP
Networking Windows Server Administration Experience with Microsoft 365 administration. Experience managing Azure and/or AWS cloud environments. Proficiency with PowerShell scripting and automation. Experience with backup and disaster recovery technologies. Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Azure infrastructure services. Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments. Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, Bicep). Experience with endpoint management platforms such as Intune. Knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD). Experience with monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Datadog, or SCOM.
