Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Developer to join their technology team. In this role, you'll design, develop, and support cloud-native applications and automation solutions in a complex AWS environment. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to build scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud solutions while contributing throughout the software development lifecycle.

What You'll Do:
Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and services within an AWS environment. Build and support scalable automation solutions across cloud infrastructure and application platforms. Develop serverless and cloud-based solutions utilizing AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, EC2, Glue, Kinesis, IAM, ELB, and VPC. Create and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK. Leverage Boto3 and AWS SDKs to automate cloud operations and application workflows. Develop and execute automated unit and integration testing strategies. Collaborate with developers, architects, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to deliver cloud solutions. Support application monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and operational excellence initiatives. Participate in code reviews and contribute to software development best practices. Utilize modern development tools and AI-assisted coding technologies to improve productivity and code quality.
What You Bring:
5+ years of hands-on Python development experience in production environments. Strong expertise with AWS cloud services, including Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, EC2, Glue, Kinesis, IAM, ELB, and VPC. Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or AWS CDK. Hands-on experience with the Boto3 SDK. Strong understanding of AWS architecture, security, networking, and cloud operations across development, testing, and production environments. Experience building automated unit tests and integration testing frameworks. Experience with AI-assisted development tools and coding assistants. Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Experience with application monitoring, performance testing, and load testing is a plus. Experience processing or ingesting large-scale data sets is preferred. AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or AWS Developer Associate certifications are a plus. Experience in financial services, mortgage, banking, insurance, or real estate industries is preferred. Must be able to work onsite in Radnor, PA five days per week.
