Job Description
Project/ Systems Engineer Fidelity Technology Services LLC United States, Pennsylvania, Reading 2501 Kutztown Road (Show on map) Aug 12, 2026 Fidelity Technology Services LLC seeks a Project / Systems Engineer to support its Department of Defense and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) programs. The Project / Systems Engineer will own the technical and programmatic execution of complex, multi-discipline programs from award through fielding
- including full-flight simulators, Joint Fires trainers, and Synthetic Training Environments.
- owning the systems engineering baseline, managing requirements traceability, and ensuring all technical deliverables meet contractual and performance specifications. Leads or supports design reviews and milestone events: SRR, PDR, CDR, TRR, CVT, GAT, and OSAT
- preparing technical briefings, chairing working groups, and resolving discrepancies with the Government customer. Develops and maintains key program artifacts: Systems Requirements Specifications (SRS), Interface Control Documents (ICD), Software Development Plans (SDP), Test Plans, CDRLs, and configuration management documentation. Supports FMS program execution
- coordinating export/import compliance (ITAR/EAR, 22 CFR 126.
DSCA/SAO
relationships where applicable. Coordinates multi-discipline integration across software, hardware, visual systems, and Government-furnished equipment (GFE/GFP)- identifying interface risks early and driving resolution before they affect program milestones. Supports OTA and prototype program execution
- translating capability drop definitions and PI objectives into systems-level requirements, participating in Agile Release Train ceremonies, and maintaining bidirectional traceability between backlog items and contract deliverables.
- providing written and verbal status, coordinating site access, and managing discrepancy documentation through resolution. Supports proposal and capture activities: authors or reviews SOW sections, prepares BOEs, develops staffing plans, and contributes to technical volumes for new FMS cases, OTA submissions, and competitive bids. Deploys to customer sites and program locations as required

- capable of producing clear, traceable SRS, ICD, test plans, and CDRL deliverables independently Familiarity with IMS development and schedule performance reporting; working knowledge of earned value concepts (BCWS, BCWP, CPI/SPI) Experience with configuration management, requirements traceability tools (DOORS, Jama, or similar), and document control in a DoD program environment Demonstrated ability to coordinate across engineering disciplines (software, hardware, systems, test) and manage competing priorities under program schedule pressure Good interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with peers, clients, and Government counterparts Excellent organizational skills; ability to manage multiple concurrent deliverables with minimum supervision U.

- through prior military service or contractor work Prior experience working in Southwest Asia, Eastern Europe, or comparable OCONUS defense program environments
