As a Data Platform Automation Engineer , you will design, develop, and implement scalable software and business process automation solutions that address complex business requirements and operational needs. Leveraging deep technical expertise and domain knowledge, you will drive platform efficiency, reliability, and innovation across data ecosystems. This role is responsible for promoting software quality best practices, establishing testing standards and automation frameworks, and executing comprehensive testing strategies to ensure high-performance, secure, and maintainable solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data platform capabilities that enable business growth and operational excellence. Essential Functions ​ Designs/develops software solutions and business process solutions based on business needs and requirements using specialized domain knowledge and developed business expertise. Works at all layers of the application stack including front-end user interface and backend development. Analyzes and evaluates code issues and makes decisions within general parameters under broad supervision. Leads projects and programs within own organization with moderate complexity and scope. Focuses on software quality standards for all aspects of work; establishes advanced software test standards and methods and conducts complex software tests. Performs code reviews and optimization of existing queries.
