POSITION DESCRIPTION
: W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Business Systems Engineer - GUS with the following duties: Support design, implementation, and maintenance of systems and applications to support business operations and processes; Execute on requirements per technical specifications and defined deliverables, scrutinizes details, questions inconsistencies and demonstrates curiosity and functional understanding; Configuring modules, and providing technical support to Contracts end-users; Adhere to development of solutions to ensure they are flexible, scalable, and meet company standards; Create software documentation, such as testing plans, flow charts and technical documentation; Monitor and maintain integration between contract platforms (Icertis, SAPCLM, Etc.) and other systems and tools (SAP, Sailpoint, SalesForce, Vistex); Providing assistance to users of Grainger's Contract platforms via ServiceNow Incident and Tasks management; Participate in and follow Grainger's Technology Change Control policy; Participate in team activities (daily status meetings, tech huddle topics, etc.) and pairing with peers to work on stories.
REQUIREMENTS
: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering or related field plus 2 years of related experience. Will accept any level of experience in the following skills: Analyze business requirements and configure enterprise software systems to support end-to-end business processes; Design and implement integrations between enterprise systems using APIs (e.g., REST, SOAP) to enable secure data exchange; Prepare functional specifications, process flow documentation, and technical configuration documents supporting enterprise software implementations; Configure SAP enterprise systems supporting supply chain planning, inventory planning, and materials management; Develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications including writing program code, preparing technical documentation, and troubleshooting production system incidents. Up to 20% domestic and international travel required for project Go Live, support and learning. Must live near a major airport. Up to 100% remote work allowed.
COMPENSATION
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $109,000 - $158,400 which reflects the potential base pay at the time of this posting. Base pay will depend on factors such as work location, relevant experience, and skills.
