If you are selected for this role, you will be employed by Talent Solutions and will not be an employee of Hilton. Contract workers are not employees of Hilton or any of its subsidiaries, nor will they be eligible for Hilton benefits. •US based hybrid role located in our Memphis, TN (preferred) or Dallas, TX location•
Job Summary:
Hilton is seeking a skilled and motivated contractor to join our Cloud Solutions Architecture team, playing a pivotal role in accelerating automation that supports hotel setup across multiple functions. This position is centered on architecting, refining, and implementing cloud solutions through Hilton's Property Engagement Platform (PEP) and its supporting cloud capabilities. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative and technically driven professional who thrives in a dynamic environment, building and deploying scalable, reusable automation patterns that streamline hotel setup activities and drive operational excellence across the organization.
Responsibilities:
Deliver automation that improves and standardizes hotel setup workflows, producing reusable patterns and capabilities that can be adopted across multiple functions, while being implemented through PEP-aligned cloud solutions Contribute to a robust project pipeline, coordinate with business and application teams on existing and new cloud patterns, and build solutions using infrastructure as code tools, processes, and other popular cloud tools Standardize the current deployment pipeline in GitLab Identify and implement opportunities for infrastructure automation and improvements in configuration management, monitoring, and alerting to solve complex cloud infrastructure challenges supporting PEP and hotel setup enablement Support the Hilton Hybrid Cloud environment, including escalation support for operations and support teams, participate in on-call rotations, and work alongside other engineering teams to ensure alignment to Hilton standards and processes Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation using Atlassian suite tools and use ServiceNow to engage production ITSM processes, ensuring automation and setup patterns are clearly documented for reuse across teams and functions Apply security policies and provide guidance on vulnerability and patch management within the cloud estate, ensuring automation outcomes remain compliant and operationally sustainable
Skills:
Industry experience and knowledge of AWS components, including IAM, RDS, Lambda, S3, EKS, SQS, SNS, and IoT Proficiency with open-source cloud provisioning tools such as Terraform and Vault Experience with industry pipeline and CI/CD tools, including Bamboo and GitLab Experience interacting with public cloud environments running both production and non-production workloads, including tuning, monitoring, and operations Demonstrated ability to contribute to large-scale projects and solve complex business problems
Experience:
5 to 7 years of experience supporting applications in a production environment 2 or more years of experience with open-source cloud provisioning tools in production cloud environments, such as Terraform or CloudFormation Templates 2 or more years of AWS experience with multi-account topology 2 or more years of experience with cloud monitoring and alerting tools, including CloudWatch, Datadog, and Splunk 2 or more years of scripting experience in production environments for the purpose of improving efficiency and automation, using languages such as Bash and Python 2 or more years of industry experience with large applications deployed in public cloud Relevant public cloud certifications are preferred Relevant certifications for open-source tools or scripting languages are preferred This is a rare opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact at one of the world's most recognized hospitality brands, working at the intersection of cloud innovation and operational transformation.
