Cloud‑native database platform engineer + architect + automation leader Core Focus Areas

• AWS‑first database architecture (RDS, Aurora, PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, Redshift)
• Legacy → cloud modernization
• Microservice‑aligned data modeling & DDD
• Performance, HA, DR, global resiliency
• Event‑driven data, CDC, real‑time streaming
• Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD for databases
• Security, governance, compliance at scale
• Enablement of product & engineering teams What Makes This Role Special
• Embedded in a 0→1 product launch
• Think start-up like feel in a Fortune 500 financial sound and thriving organization
• Works directly with: ○ Product Engineers ○ Platform / DevOps ○ Data Integration
• Owns foundational data platform standards
• Shapes how databases are built from day one
• AWS preferred even though enterprise is Azure Reporting Line
• Reports to Sr Manager of Data Engineering & Integration
• No direct reports (but strong mentorship & tremendous opportunities for advancement)
