Our client is seeking a DevOps & Platform Engineer to build, automate and maintain the tools, infrastructure and platform services that power development, deployment and operations within our growing customer base.

To thrive/succeed as the DevOps & Platform Engineer you should have: CI/CD & Platform Engineering Architect and maintain internal developer platforms and automated pipelines to streamline software delivery and self-service workflows. Cloud Infrastructure & AWS Migration Manage secure, scalable cloud environments and lead the migration of workloads from on-premises data centers to the cloud. Observability & Incident Management Monitor system performance to proactively resolve bottlenecks and act as the senior technical lead for incident response and troubleshooting. Backup, Recovery & Disaster Recovery Design and validate disaster recovery strategies and security protocols to meet strict regulatory requirements in SaaS environments. Security & Compliance Cross-Team Collaboration Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure environment consistency and support application upgrades using modern development tools. Documentation & Continuous Improvement Your responsibilities as the DevOps & Platform Engineer will include: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience Demonstrated experience across DevOps, systems/platform engineering, SRE, and supporting customer environments; experience in regulated SaaS environment a plus Proficiency with GitLab CI/CD and GitLab Duo; familiarity with infrastructure automation tools (Terraform, PowerShell, Python, Bash); experience migrating or replacing legacy CI/CD tooling (e.g., Jenkins) is a plus Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, ALB, WAF, S3, Lambda, DMS, RDS, VPC, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS); familiarity with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 is beneficial; comfort with infrastructure-as-code and cloud migration patterns Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and incident management skills with documented post-incident processes Knowledge of monitoring, alerting, and logging tools (Datadog, AWS CloudWatch, LeanSentry) and security tools (IAM, vulnerability scanners) Experience delivering customer automation, platform self-service, and technical documentation content to both internal and external stakeholders Strong communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively with development, support, and operations teams, and to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders Familiarity with code quality, compliance management, and reliability engineering concepts (SRE); comfort using AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, CodeRabbit, Cursor, or similar) to improve productivity and output quality If you are comfortable driving operational improvements, apply today!
