As a Sr. Advanced Systems Engineer here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies (AT), you will play a critical role in the design, implementation, and management of complex systems and solutions that drive innovation, safety, and efficiency across various industries. In this role, you will have a significant impact on shaping the future of our technological advancements and ensuring the successful execution of complex projects. You will report directly to our Systems Engineering Manager, and you'll work out of our Torrance, CA location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge systems that power innovative solutions. You will be responsible for the design and architectural aspects of complex systems, which may involve hardware, software, and network components. You will ensure that the system design aligns with Honeywell's quality standards and industry best practices. You will be responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies and industry trends that you will apply to address complex engineering challenges and provide solutions that meet or exceed the required technical standards for your customers. Responsibilities Provide strategic direction for systems engineering activities, aligning them with the company's goals and objectives Systems integration and architecture development Team Leadership, including: Mentoring Staff capability development Effective coordination and communication with: Multi-disciplinary design teams Systems engineering teams Project management organizations Internal and external customers Technical leadership and oversight of: Control system integration Test and development equipment Ownership and Leading field Issue troubleshooting and support Project engineering Collaborate with technical experts and thought leaders to drive technological advancements Present complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences Qualifications
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work under minimal supervision

Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
