Job Description A client is looking for a Senior Azure Engineer to serve as the technical lead for their enterprise Azure cloud environment. This individual will design, implement, and support scalable Azure infrastructure while ensuring security, performance, reliability, and operational excellence across the cloud platform. On a daily basis, the engineer will architect and deploy Azure solutions, automate infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools, manage networking and hybrid connectivity, implement security and governance controls, and support CI/CD initiatives through Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions. They will also monitor and optimize cloud environments, troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues, lead incident response efforts, and ensure business continuity through backup and disaster recovery solutions. The ideal candidate will partner closely with application, security, and infrastructure teams to deliver secure and cost-effective cloud solutions while serving as the Azure subject matter expert for architecture decisions, cloud strategy, best practices, and technical leadership.
