Senior Enterprise Architect Location:

Downtown Houston, TX Work Model:

Hybrid / Onsite / Remote but has to travel once every month (Expenses Paid)

Experience:

15+ Years Overall | 7+ Years Enterprise Architecture We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Enterprise Architect to define enterprise architecture strategy, standards, governance, reference architectures, and long-term technology roadmaps. Key Responsibilities Define enterprise architecture vision, principles, standards, and technology roadmaps Develop and maintain enterprise architecture frameworks across cloud, applications, data, infrastructure, and security Lead Architecture Review Board and architectural governance processes Create reference architectures, capability maps, technology standards, and reusable architecture assets Guide Domain, Platform, and Solution Architects on enterprise standards and best practices Evaluate emerging technologies and lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) Drive technology innovation and enterprise architecture initiatives Assess current technology landscapes and identify modernization, optimization, and redundancy opportunities Manage application portfolios and contribute to technology transformation roadmaps Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders across data, infrastructure, security, applications, and integration Maintain Enterprise Architecture tools, repositories, and governance documentation Required Qualifications 15+ years of IT experience with 7+ years in Enterprise Architecture Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field Strong expertise in enterprise architecture principles, governance, standards, and frameworks Hands-on experience with Enterprise Architecture tools such as LeanIX, iServer, or similar Strong Data Platform Architecture experience across Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform Strong understanding of cloud architecture and multi-cloud environments TOGAF certification with hands-on experience applying TOGAF principles Experience across infrastructure, security, applications, data, and integration architecture Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management, and architectural governance skills Knowledge of change management and release management processes

Preferred:

Experience in insurance, utilities, or other highly regulated industries Experience driving enterprise innovation and technology modernization initiatives Experience leading
