This individual will play a key role in the design, implementation, administration, optimization, and support of Microsoft Azure and on-premises infrastructure across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong Microsoft infrastructure background with demonstrated hands-on experience engineering and supporting Azure environments , in addition to Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, and enterprise systems. This role requires someone who can troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues while also contributing to cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, automation, and long-term engineering initiatives. Azure engineering experience is a critical requirement for this position. Candidates should be comfortable building, configuring, securing, and troubleshooting Azure resources and services—not simply administering or monitoring an existing Azure environment. This is a hybrid position requiring 4 days onsite and 1 remote day per week. Responsibilities Design, build, implement, and maintain Microsoft Azure and hybrid cloud infrastructure Engineer and configure Azure resources and services, ensuring environments are secure, scalable, highly available, and optimized for performance Support Azure infrastructure including compute, networking, storage, identity, monitoring, security, and resource management Administer and support Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, Office 365, DNS/DHCP, and virtualization platforms Manage integration between Azure and on-premises infrastructure in a hybrid enterprise environment Participate in cloud migrations, infrastructure modernization, upgrades, and new technology implementations Troubleshoot complex Tier III cloud and infrastructure issues and provide escalated support to desktop and help desk teams as needed Monitor system health and performance, troubleshoot incidents, and implement solutions to minimize downtime Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts, automation, and infrastructure workflows Support identity management, patching, endpoint security, access controls, and infrastructure compliance Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, architecture documentation, and operational procedures Collaborate with Infrastructure, DevOps, Security, and other technology teams on enterprise projects and initiatives Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability, automation, security, and operational efficiency Qualifications 5+ years of experience in Systems Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related role Strong hands-on Azure engineering experience , including designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting Azure infrastructure Experience working in hybrid Azure/on-premises environments Strong hands-on experience with: Microsoft Azure Azure networking and core infrastructure services Windows Server Active Directory / Group Policy Microsoft 365 / Office 365 Administration
