Software Engineer (Java/React) DevSecOps / Platform Engineering

We are hiring a Software Engineer to join our Security team!

Qualifications:

Programming experience with Java, Python, React, or similar technologies (Full Stack development) Experience building internal tools, platforms, or dashboards used by engineering teams Experience integrating multiple systems (APIs, data pipelines, or aggregating data into a centralized tool) Experience with security or DevSecOps tools (Snyk, Wiz, GitGuardian, Prisma Cloud, etc.) Exposure to application security concepts (vulnerabilities, scanning tools, remediation workflows)

Responsibilities:

Build and enhance an internal platform that aggregates data from security and engineering tools into a single, actionable system Develop APIs and backend services to integrate multiple data sources (e.g., vulnerability tools, code repositories, cloud platforms) Design and build user-facing dashboards and interfaces (React or similar) that surface insights to developers and engineering teams Translate complex security findings into clear, actionable workflows for engineers Identify gaps in existing processes and propose/build solutions to improve developer security practices Collaborate with security, platform, and application teams to ensure adoption and usability of the tools you build Contribute to overall platform architecture and engineering best practices Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $55.00 - $70.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
